This website is a massive tribute to my loving grandma, Catherine Bannon. My Grandma sadly passed away on the 2nd may 2008, aged 63, she had a hard fight against pancreatic cancer . Grandma was diaognosed in september 2006 she was given a life expectansy of one year, but she faught until the end and she passed away 20 months after been digonosed. My grandma was a true fighter until the end myself and all our family say the cancer didnt beat her in anyway she didnt go without a good fight. Myself and other members of our family was with her when she passed away peacfuly at her home with her lovng husband, daughters, grandchildren, brother and sister. This is the way she wanted it to be with all her loving family around her.

The way it smells when she cooks,

She's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet,
Unless you get on her bad side then you're in for a treat!!
The way she'll cheer you up when you're down,
And how she helps to turn your frown,
The way she jokes and laughs with us,
Her soul, so kind, so sweet, so free,
We miss her everyday,

Its been a year now grandma & the pain of loosing you is still there, the only comfort we get is knowing that your at peace now everyone misses you, you have left a big hole in our hearts

You was there the moment I was born, you held my mums hand you kept her strong, is that why you was always there without having to think twice? You was always there for me Grandma with the advice. That special advice only my Grandma could give, you kept things simple you always did. Just a few words and that was it me and you we always fit.
I miss you so much today Grandma its been too long, the key to our hearts, your soul lives on, to me you will always be that special lady, there is nobody like you about, not even nearly, just so you know I am thinking of you I wrote you this poem and the words just spill out. I will love you forever just so you know. Just me and you our special love, it will never go.

18 weeks
Its been 18 weeks tomorrow Grandma since we were all in your living room sayin goodbye, i wish you were still here to brighten up our days, all my love & thoughts are with you miss you always x x

I was just visiting this site for my nephew Chris Bannon who died suddenly aged 34, and saw the tributes to your gran, she seemed like a wonderful lady, take comfort in being part of her life, and i am sure she knew how much she was loved by you all, and was so proud of you, please try to have a happy life in her memory.
Missing you
Today has been a hard day Grandma, things have got to me a bit today, it makes me feel better knowing you are here, i love you so much there are loads of things i never got to say or ask, but since your around you will know what im talking about, i hope you come & talk to me Grandma it would make more than my year, hope lisa's behaving for you up there send her my love, wish you was both still here, love and miss you both millions x x x
